History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mozikth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Mozikth was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Cumpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: Fallthra is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Farmer for the past few years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is wracked by social anxiety
