He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Glassblower, Bidreked learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
