Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
