History: Born in the east to a Bather, Rurik learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bather.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She keeps her silver hair in a pixie cut. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Paelias was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Paelias's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and someone believes her a fraud
