History: He was born in the south. After coming to the age of reason, Beast took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels threatened by others

History: Born in the west to a Apothecary, Nyx learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nyx fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
