History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Grai grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Through the years after Frug was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Frug's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to be a laborer again
