History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a blue coat. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her broad blue hat.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Mortician again; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, blue shirt, and brown tie. Her auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Being a Roofer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother
