Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bella has worked very hard to control her curse. She now mingles about in high society.

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
