History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Armara was taken on many hunting expeditions. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Verin abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Whurdred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Whurdred was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and money/treasure
