His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small desert village. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Sarah took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with her Dyer mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Armorer who has hired her part-time. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Murook grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Murook was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
