History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His head has been shaved. He has amber eyes and a grey hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: Standing 4'9", this woman is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She has no hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Sumnes was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Sumnes abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and further expansion of business

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears dull violet sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed lance, just in case. She keeps her golden hair in a pixie cut. Her brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has shaved his head bald. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a Barber first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barber work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barber work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Barber.
