History: He was born in the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Gynk is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dynamic fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To protect her home.
