History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Tomph learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Tomph was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bricklayer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
