History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a shortbow on her belt. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born in the east. Cumpen was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Detective. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sarah will drive conversation. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
