History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He struck the Cook job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Syllin embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Syllin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
