History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Merla learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Beggar. She's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Shipwright, and she later adopted a second son.

Her hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Yvonne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Yvonne has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Fivin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Fivin and his spouse have recently divorced.
