History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Faran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Faran was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shifting grew up listening to her father's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Ovina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has worked as a Soapmaker like her mother before her.
