Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mason but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
