History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Andraste fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Nutae was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kelter has worked very hard to control his curse. Being a Architect kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
