History: Elizabeth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Elizabeth never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Bertram began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
