History: Born in the north to a Performer, Cumpen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Hunter, but she got bored and became a Spy. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Maegan took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fisher for the past few years.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories.
