Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Shamil is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barkeep for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and expand her business

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ethereal is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs.
