History: Kilvar was born the youngest of three triplets. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Kilvar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Biri was born with her father's beautiful face. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end her boredom.
