History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
