History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marigold grew up listening to her father's many stories. Marigold liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
