The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Everard was born with his father's beautiful face. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Koeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and retire the richest man in the south
