She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Ranala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She tends to her Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Aust lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born in the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
