History: Born to a Laborer, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Jane was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
