Personality: Claira wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warlock, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Claira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He has done his best to style his copper crest to look like a famous performer. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Reynard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Reynard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her hair is blonde and very short. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Nella was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Adran began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
