Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Pogranix abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Rosalind was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sailor. After a long history of fighting, Rosalind and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. After coming to the age of reason, Silgre took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: Tervaround was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
