Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Brogg wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Brogg was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
