History: Juliana hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Juliana was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Ploughman work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Donaar began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Callie learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and balancing her hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult
