History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Burto grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Burto. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor.
