History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Shautha reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Healer. She has achieved small success as a Healer.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull grey iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. His white crest is singed and shortened. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in a small island village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want him driven away
