History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Vonana was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Layabout. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Carpenter. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Chad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Phann speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and an old rival family wants her found
