History: She was born into a rich family. Burana was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Burana decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by his family; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Lia hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Barakas and his spouse have recently divorced.
