History: Bathin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bathin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Tomi has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Rael was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.
