Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Matilda grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Hillanot liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
