History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Skirt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She is a Healer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Healer and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is fixated on the number 21. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
