History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a red wide-brimmed hat and red clothes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her black hair is thinning but still full. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Valorean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
