Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pennie embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pennie grew up listening to her father's many stories. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to share knowledge with the world
