History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tomi grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. Yvonne enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Yvonne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
