History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He worked as a nervous Sellsword and found it very stressful. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's in love; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She takes great joy in being the best Bookbinder in town.

History: Dalaba was born with her mother's beautiful face. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mercenary who has hired her part-time. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Shamil was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Mercenary. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Heian took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.
