His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Resh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
