History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Dilettante but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Shax learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oriff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shadow grew up listening to her father's many stories. Shadow abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born in the west. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she would like to get married and retire
