She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Fargrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
