History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Juliana reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest woman in the south

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she prefers to wear white clothing when she does not wear armor. She wears her brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nedda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and wants to open a new tavern
