History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Helja has worked very hard to control her curse. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Helja never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Kelter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Kelter began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
