History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Grigi alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Ozyman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He has worked as a Blacksmith like his mother before him.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a great chef.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pelt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
