History: Balam was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Wiggan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Marbas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Gûnd was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
